| Bud
Forrest, Producer, Music Director - As the creater and producer of
IN THE MOOD Bud has been sending
this revue out across America for the past 14 years. He has enjoyed
working with many directors, writers, music arrangers and choreographers
to continually make IN THE MOOD
relevant to our culture. Bud is a former Juilliard student who earned
his B.A. from Ithaca College, New York and did graduate work in music
at Catholic University in Washington, DC. He was accompanist to the
world famous "Singing Sergeants", the official chorus of the United
States Air Force. He has performed at Arena Stage in Candide
and It’s a Wonderful Life, at Ford’s Theatre in All Night
Strut, at the Kennedy Center with such performers as Cyril Ritchard,
Tammy Grimes, Lillian Gish, Dick Shawn and John Raitt, at the Warner
Theatre in Camelot with Richard Harris and at the National
Theatre in Cats and Dancin’. |

In 1997, Bud and his String of Pearls Orchestra were featured at an
Inaugural Ball for President and Mrs. Clinton. |

From 1994 to 2007 Bud's IN THE MOOD
has traveled to over 40 states and to Europe performing in major performing
arts centers, arenas, state fairs, ballrooms and for prestigious corporate
events. By June of 2006 this show will have appeared in 43 States
(only 7 more to go!) and Canada. In 1998 Bud produced "Holiday
Swing", a big band Christmas show recreating many of the holiday
songs in the big band style. He is looking forward to 2008 when IN
THE MOOD will be celebrating its 15th Anniversary as a
touring show! |
